The untold hunger

This study provides a multidimensional analysis of food poverty starting from the privileged witnesses, i.e. the families who receive food assistance from agencies located in the metropolitan area of Milan. The study applies the lens of rights to the analysis of food poverty with a twofold objective: the first is to include all the key dimensions of the right to food; the second is to consider food poverty as a violation of fundamental human rights. Finally, the analysis focuses on measures to combat food poverty and proposes important recommendations to policy makers and authorities. The report is only available in Italian.
